The Baxter Arena in south-central Omaha is home to several UNO sports and hosts public ice-skating and hockey opportunities. Built as a replacement to the closed Civic Center downtown and Aksarben facilities that used to be just north of the site, the arena is now the anchor of the UNO athletics campus.
