Council Bluffs
Yard waste season: April 1st-May 15th and October 15th-November 30th, 2023. New for 2023: in July, Council Bluffs will start using trucks with grab arms and households will receive 96 gallon trash and recycle cans. The trash cans can take yard waste all year long and the yard waste season is limited to April/May and Oct/Nov.

Spring yard waste season: May 1st-June 9th, 2023. 6 weeks, place paper bagged yard waste outside your trash bins, no yard waste stickers. Outside of the yard waste season, you may take yard waste to the Oma-Gro facility or purchase stickers.
