KOLN’s Belleville, Kansas In Belleville, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation is looking into a possible case of child abuse.
After a couple brought their three-month-old daughter to Republic County Hospital who was not responding, the Belleville, Kansas Police Department notified the KBI on Thursday.
After that, she was taken to a hospital in Omaha for critical treatment.
According to a physician in Omaha, the infant’s serious injuries have resulted in no brain activity. She is still on life support at this time.
The probe is still going on.
