Grand Junction, Colorado – According to fresh information, an unnamed lady discovered dead in Colorado more than 20 years ago may have ties to South Dakota.

On August 10, 1999, a man discovered the bones of Jane Doe near Walsenburg, Colorado. According to a cold case investigator, her body was discovered in the area’s municipal garbage, with a portion of her skeletal bones discovered in an old refrigerator.

A spatula, jaw, and several bone parts were discovered within 100 feet of the refrigerator. The rubbish in the refrigerator dates back to 1988-1992.

The cause of her death and identity remain unknown, but law enforcement has recently revealed digital reconstruction pictures of a lady believed to be from South Dakota.

Authorities also said Jane Doe had extensive filling and dental work done, and they hope that someone may identify her based on her teeth or the recreated photos.

She was described as being:

Between 5′8″ and 5′10″, weighing roughly 130-145 pounds.
Her death occurred when she was between the ages of 30 and 45.
had shoulder-length hair in dark brown or black.
Her race is unknown, although authorities assume she is white, half American Indian, or Hispanic.

In addition, Jane Doe seemed to be pregnant at one point in her life and had a shattered rib. Her death was reported to have occurred when she was wearing leather sandals produced in Italy.

Her death was suspected to be the result of foul play.
