Introduction

Three people are suspected of killing a 68-year-old man whose body was discovered on a Texas freeway, according to authorities.

On December 16, the Palo Pinto County Sheriff’s Office announced that Marvin Wayne Henry’s body was discovered adjacent to the Interstate 20 access road near Exit 373.

However, Henry, according to the sheriff’s office, was a victim of criminal attack who suffered substantial traumatic injuries. It is unclear whether Henry died in Palo Pinto County. Palo Pinto County is approximately 100 miles west of Dallas County.

According to sources, detectives determined Henry’s car had gone missing. It was located near Gainesville, which is about 115 miles northeast of Palo Pinto County and 70 miles north of Dallas County.

During an investigation, officials launched a search in coordination with state and federal law enforcement agencies in an effort to find Henry’s vehicle, which was reported missing. This search operation resulted in the arrest of three persons.

Henry’s truck was found later Monday in Cooke County, near the Texas-Oklahoma line, Cooke County Sheriff Ray Sappington said Thursday.

Two individuals were captured, while a third was seized the next day. Natalie Gomez, 31, Pascual Villaneda, 39, and Ruperto Toscano, 44, are currently facing charges for murder.

They are each charged with capital murder and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Sappington stated their bonds are each worth $1.01 million.

According to Sappington, Ruiz-Toscano has been placed under immigration hold since he is illegally present in the country.

Initial Discovery

Palo Pinto County officers arrived around 9 a.m. to an I-20 access road near Exit 373, where the body of a deceased man was discovered.

Conclusion

The three suspects were still in Cooke County custody Thursday, awaiting transport to Palo Pinto County. Sappington said he expects it to happen within the next 10 days.
