OMAHA, Nebraska (WOWT) – The Omaha Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that took place Tuesday night.
Just before 8 p.m., OPD responded to an incident at a Family Dollar at Charles Street and Saddle Creek Road.
When authorities arrived, staff reported them that a male suspect wearing a yellow jacket and camouflage pants had entered the store.
According to reports, the man then produced a gun and demanded money. He stole money from the register and fled on foot “to the east.”
The OPD said the inquiry is still ongoing.
