A day after Christmas, Council Bluffs shoppers were spending their holiday money and spending quality time with loved ones.

A few things never change, like finding deals the day after Christmas.

Ella’s reaction: “I just bought a puffer jacket, some slouch socks and…what else did I purchases?”
Madeline says, “Like some sweatpants…”
Ella “Oh, absolutely. Sweatpants.”
On Thursday, Metro Crossing saw a continuous stream of shoppers, many of whom were spending their Christmas money.
Sarah asked: “It’s something just to do after Christmas other than sitting around feeling a little too full from food”
Janessa responds: “Day after Christmas everything’s basically on sale.”
Ty: “A little bit of everything.” Just a few hidden gems that many may not have noticed.
However, there is also time for bonding.
Ella responded: “The deals are good, but…”
Madeline: “Like a fun, family day.”
Sarah tells me: “Catching up and stuff since I’ve been away for college.”
Jazmin: “My parents had no idea I was coming home. I just got home from boot camp, so I’m going to get some stuff for myself.”
