Jack Hoffman, the Husker fan whose cancer struggle drew widespread notice, has multiple additional tumors.
“Jack has had a rough couple of weeks,” his mother said on CaringBridge on Saturday.
He went to the emergency department at the Children’s Hospital in Omaha after experiencing dizziness and vomiting, according to the post.
An MRI showed additional tumors in his brain stem, cerebellum, ventricles, and spine.
Hoffman’s mother, Brianna, said that his eyesight and memory are impacted.
She said her son, who is now in college, would be unable to sit his final examinations.
Brianna said that the Hoffmans “pray for a miracle.”
“He continues to fight,” she stated.
