OMAHA, Nebraska – A man was hospitalized Wednesday morning after being hit by a car in North Omaha.
According to Omaha Police, the incident took place around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday near 41st Street and Bedford Avenue.
OPD officers arrived at the scene and discovered the victim, an 18-year-old man, bleeding on the street.
According to OPD, the victim was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition.
Police say witnesses saw the victim lying in the street before hearing a crash and seeing an SUV drive away.
