The National Weather Service warns that icy conditions could cause slick roads, including stretches of Interstate 80. According to the National Weather Service, freezing rain and light snow are expected to develop Saturday afternoon, with accumulations of less than an inch. However, isolated slick spots can form, especially on bridges and overpasses. Temperatures will hover around 38°F during the day before dropping to 29°F tonight.

Sunday will bring partly sunny skies and calmer conditions, with highs of 19°F. However, a sharp cold snap begins Sunday night, with temperatures dropping to 5°F. Wind chills as low as -15°F are expected on Monday and Tuesday mornings, posing a risk of frostbite to exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Looking ahead, Monday will remain cold, with highs around 23°F. Tuesday promises sunny skies but cold temperatures, with a high of 23°F and a low of 13°F overnight. Warmer temperatures are expected by Wednesday, reaching 34°F.
