BENNINGTON, Nebraska – Road closures near Bennington were caused by a crash Monday morning.
The accident occurred near Blair High Rd. and Bennington Rd. shortly after 8 a.m. It involved a pickup truck and a semi-trailer carrying cattle.
According to reports, six cattle were killed in the wreck, half a dozen escaped, and others remain in the truck.
Douglas County officials say no one was injured in the crash.
Authorities are looking into a possible traffic light violation.
