HOUSTON —The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo will begin its rodeo season in 2025, with an announcement of the entertainer lineup on Thursday.
In November, RODEOHOUSTON released the genre schedule, which outlines the rodeo schedule but does not reveal which artists will perform on specific days. The current calendar includes special theme days such as Armed Forces Appreciation and Community Days.
The current genre calendar is as follows:
- Tuesday, March 4 – Country (Opening Day)
- Wednesday, March 5 – Country (Armed Forces Appreciation, presented by Crown Royal)
- Thursday, March 6 – Pop
- Friday, March 7 – R&B/Hip Hop (Black Heritage Day, presented by Kroger)
- Saturday, March 8 – Country
- Sunday, March 9 – Regional Mexican
- Monday, March 10 – Country (First Responders Day, presented by BP America)
- Tuesday, March 11 – Pop
- Wednesday, March 12 – Christian (Community Day, presented by TC Energy)
- Thursday, March 13 – Country (Volunteer Appreciation Day, presented by Philips 66)
- Friday, March 14 – Rock
- Saturday, March 15 – Country
- Sunday, March 16 – Regional Mexican (Go Texan Day, presented by Fiesta Mart)
- Monday, March 17 – Country
- Tuesday, March 18 – Wild Card
- Wednesday, March 19 – Country
