US Government confirms new SSDI check of up to $4,018 within hours

In the United States, SSDI payments are delivered to households on different days of the month depending on which group of retirees the citizen belongs to.

There are up to four different payment days, so we must know which payday we will receive our check each month.

The calendar is usually consistent, but there are times when certain irregularities occur that prevent us from receiving our SSDI payment on the usual day.

In the case of January, there is no irregularity with these types of payments, so the group 4 payment will be made on the next Wednesday in January.

When does the new SSDI payment arrive?

The Social Security Administration will send out the SSDI payment on January 22nd. On this day, eligible citizens will be able to receive their regular benefits.

This will be the first January Social Security payment for this specific group, so the 2025 COLA will be included.

However, not all Americans with benefits are eligible for this January 22nd payment, which is only available to SSDI retiree group 4.

It is true that the payment is not limited to SSDI retirees; any other type of retiree, regardless of the amount they receive, is eligible.

Who gets January 22nd SSDI?

The January 22nd payment is for Group 4 retirees. This benefit is not available to any other group, so we must adhere to the requirements to be a part of it. Thus, group 4 retirees include those who:

  1. Have a benefit since after May 1997.
  2. Have a birthday between the 21st and 31st of any month.

As a result, if you fall into this category, regardless of whether you receive SSDI or another type of retirement benefit, you will benefit from the January 22nd payment, the month’s final payment.

Remember to activate Direct Deposit if you want the payment the same day you send it; otherwise, you will receive it a few days later.
