OMAHA, Nebraska – One person was killed in a crash that occurred in West Omaha Saturday morning.
Omaha Police say officers responded to a scene near 133rd and West Center Road around 9:45 a.m. Saturday.
According to OPD, a Volkswagen collided with a Chevrolet as they drove eastbound on West Center Road. The Volkswagen then veered off the road, colliding with the base of a traffic signal.
Linda Moon, 64, the driver of the Volkswagen, was taken to Bergan Mercy Hospital by Omaha Fire Department Medics and later pronounced dead.
According to OPD, the Silverado’s occupants are uninjured.
