A Persia man faces multiple charges following a crash in Fremont County on Friday.
According to the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a wreck around 3:20 p.m. near 190th Street and 350th Avenue, east of Sidney. Authorities discovered a 2019 Chevrolet Colorado that had crashed and sustained significant damage.
During the investigation, the driver, 51-year-old Gary Redinbaugh, allegedly told police that he thought he was near Harlan, about 90 miles from the crash site. He was arrested and charged with OWI, second offense, and failure to maintain control.
He was taken to Fremont County Jail. Sidney Fire and Rescue assisted on the scene.
