Two Texarkana teens were injured in a drive-by shooting

Two teenagers are being treated at a local hospital after being shot in a drive-by Friday afternoon, according to Texarkana, Texas police.

The police department received multiple 911 calls around 3 p.m. reporting shots fired in the 100 block of Jack Street.

Two male teenagers were taken to the emergency room shortly after. One had a gunshot wound in the leg, the other in the foot.

According to preliminary information, the teens were on the road when they were shot by a passing motorist.

Detectives are examining the scene. So far, no arrests have occurred.
