Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, a wrestler turned actor, has been a constant presence in the industry. From Moana to Jumanji to Fast & Furious, he has made it a point to remain professionally active, earning a net worth of $800 million.
However, while promoting his latest Christmas film, Red One, in which he co-stars with Chris Evans, Johnson was asked a question that changed his entire perspective on life.
During a recent Complex interview hosted by Internet personality Speedy Morman, Johnson was asked, “Do you ever have fun?

When asked to clarify the question, Morman stated that Johnson appears to be constantly working and leaving little time for rest and play. While his job may appear to be enjoyable on the surface, it is, in the end, work. Johnson was at a loss for words at the time. “You mean, genuinely enjoying myself? I need to think about that.”
Johnson mentioned the conversation a few weeks later while doing more press, saying that the interview was “one of the best he is done in a while” and that that specific question had made it to his family’s dinner table that night. He also sent Morman a private voice message after the interview, but he did not reveal their conversation.
Johnson, who has maintained his professional momentum since 1996, appears to have not set aside much time for a true vacation. His films have grossed more than $12.5 billion worldwide, making him one of the world’s most successful and well-paid actors. However, he is now ready to reap what he has sown.
Sunday evening, the actor posted a video of himself relaxing on a beach in Hawaii, captioned “It feels good to be home.” I am currently doing something that I have not done in over a year. I am putting my feet up. I am relaxing. We all work hard and deserve to relax more. “I need to improve at that.” He captioned the photo, “I am learning how to stop and do this more.”
Following his interview with Morman, the vacation was a clear call to action, a divine reminder that life should be lived as well. “finally. “Happy for you, bro. Stay awhile,” Morman comments on the post, pleased to see their conversation come full circle.
