A Fremont man is facing a variety of charges following an incident on Thursday afternoon.
At approximately 3:35 p.m., police were dispatched to a residence near 500 East Fourth Street in response to a disturbance involving a male party armed with a knife.
The male suspect fled the home in a vehicle. The vehicle was traveling south on Bell Street and initially failed to stop for law enforcement. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office assisted in apprehending the suspect without injury.
Todd Martin was arrested and charged with domestic assault, child abuse/neglect, terroristic threats, using a weapon to commit a felony, fleeing to avoid arrest, and obstructing a peace officer.
