Dunkin’ Doomed Canadian Coffee Sensation ‘Better Than Starbucks’ Invades [state] With 10 New Locations!

Some customers claim that Dunkin’ Donuts will begin to lose business in favor of the chain’s food and beverages.

According to DC News Now, Tim Hortons, which sells coffee and baked goods in Canada, will open at least ten locations in Maryland.

Tim Hortons Coffee & Bakery was founded in Ontario in 1964 and has since expanded to over 5,700 locations across 13 countries.

The United States currently has over 650 Tim Hortons, the majority of which are in New York and Michigan.

Tonawanda, New York, about 12 miles north of downtown Buffalo, was where it opened its first restaurant in the United States in 1984.

This year, Tim Hortons will expand into Maryland.

“We are excited to bring Tim Hortons to the communities of Howard and Carroll Counties,” said Kyle Corman, Tim Hortons’ senior real estate manager, in an interview with the news outlet.

“Our Maryland expansion reflects a commitment to growing in markets where guests are looking for great coffee, convenient drive-thrus, and warm, welcoming spaces.”

There is no confirmed timeline for when the ten Tim Hortons will break ground in Maryland.

According to Hyatt Commercial Brokerage, which is representing Tim Hortons in its search for the best restaurant sites, the new locations will have a typical 1,600 square-foot layout.

The layout includes an indoor dining area.

MIXED RESPONSE

Customers are eager to get Tim Hortons’ iconic selections such as Double-Double coffee, donuts, Timbits, and more.

Some went so far as to claim that the Canadian chain is “better than Dunkin’ Donuts” and even Starbucks.

“Better than Starbucks,” one longtime fan wrote in a Facebook post about the ten new locations.

“Better than Starbucks by a long shot,” another added.

MENU MADNESS

Dunkin’ Donuts also introduced several new menu items this month as part of its Spring and Easter lineup.

These included a Cotton Candy Specialty Donut, a Secret Dunkin’ Energy Drink, and the Spring Munchkins Bucket with Blueberry Sprinkled Munchkins donuts.

The energy drink’s flavor was recently confirmed as Arctic Cherry.

All of the options are only available for a limited time, so interested customers should act quickly before the flavors are gone for good.
