Omaha Drug Crime Investigation and Arrest

According to Omaha Police, the Narcotics and Field Investigations Units have concluded an ongoing investigation by arresting 31-year-old Abdulmalek Nagi.

Nagi was suspected of running an illegal THC distribution warehouse on 4891 F Street.

Last Thursday, detectives from the OPD Narcotics and Field Investigations Unit, assisted by the OPD SWAT team, K9 Unit, Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office, and Nebraska Attorney General’s Office, executed a search warrant at the warehouse.

Officers located Nagi and arrested him without incident.

Detectives discovered a large-scale illegal THC sales operation within the warehouse.

The evidence suggested that the facility was supplying illegal (Delta-9) THC products to a number of local smoke shops.

Detectives seized thousands of illegal Delta-9 THC vape pens and cartridges, THC waxes, THC-infused candies, leafy marijuana, Khat, psychedelic mushrooms, and a large sum of cash.

Nagi was booked into Douglas County Corrections for possessing a Scheduled Drug with the intent to distribute.
