Florida – A healthcare worker from Florida has had her nursing license revoked due to serious criminal allegations. The Florida Department of Health issued an ESO last week, citing concerns about her moral character and judgment, both of which are required for healthcare professionals.

This action occurred after AIexis, a 35-year-old woman, was charged with feIony Iewd or Iascivious battery on a minor aged 12 to 16. The charges stem from an alleged incident last year, when her 15-year-old stepdaughter was visiting on vacation.

According to law enforcement reports, the alleged abuse took place in July of last year, when the woman and her stepchild consumed a THC vape, watched movies, and engaged in sexually explicit conversations.

The situation worsened, necessitating intervention and a course of action. Her husband, the boy’s father, reportedly returned home unexpectedly to find the two naked on the couch. Despite witnessing the incident, he chose not to report it to authorities. An anonymous family member later contacted law enforcement, resulting in an investigation.

During the investigation, the victim provided statements outlining the events preceding and during the alleged abuse. He described how the woman had made inappropriate comments and engaged in flirtatious behavior in the days leading up to the incident.

He also stated that he felt confused and manipulated throughout the encounter. These statements were supported by evidence gathered during the investigation.

The boy’s father, who is also the woman’s husband, arrived home unexpectedly and discovered the two in an intimate position on the couch. Despite the disturbing discovery, he did not immediately report the incident to authorities. An investigation was launched only after an anonymous family member contacted law enforcement.

A thorough investigation led to the woman’s arrest after several months. She was charged with felony Iewd or Iascivious Battery on a Minor Aged 12 to 16, a charge that could carry serious legal ramifications.

Her attorney has pleaded not guilty on her behalf, and the legal proceedings are ongoing. The woman has been released on bond while she awaits trial. The case’s status will be updated as it moves through the legal system.

The Florida Department of Health’s Emergency Suspension Order explicitly stated that she lacked moral character and judgment, both of which are critical for healthcare professionals.

The suspension of her nursing license reflects the gravity of the allegations and the critical importance of upholding high ethical standards in the medical profession.
