PERK PULLED Fans are furious as Costco secretly updates its website to announce that it is removing a significant perk

The popular deal was quietly removed from the store’s website.

Costco customers are upset after discovering that a popular travel perk may have quietly disappeared from the retailer’s offerings.

The warehouse club’s popular Disneyland Resort deal appears to have been pulled without warning.

Fans noticed the change on social media.

A Reddit user made the announcement in a post titled “Costco Travel no longer accepting Disneyland Resort reservations.”

A similar message appears on the Costco Travel website.

“I am not seeing this discussed anywhere and I am curious what may have happened,” the user wrote in reply.

“It was working earlier this week when I went to price out a September trip.”

Other users became confused and frustrated after seeing the post, and they quickly speculated that Costco Travel had stopped selling Disneyland vacation packages.

“According to Mickey Visit, Costco will not be selling Disneyland packages moving forward,” a reader said.

“Costco Travel will continue to sell packages for Walt Disney World, Aulani, and cruises, but Disneyland packages will be discontinued. If any are available, they will most likely be limited geographically.”

Despite the lack of official confirmation from Costco, the company’s travel website no longer offers Disneyland vacation packages.

The change has irritated long-time fans of the perk.

“That is unfortunate,” one user commented.

“We used Costco Travel last June for Disneyland, and the Disney gift card paid for a couple of meals for us – it was a great deal.”

Costco’s Disneyland bundles were known for including extras like Disney gift cards, collectible lanyards, and exclusive pins.

“Costco packages were the same price as booking direct, they just had some (pretty great) perks,” according to a Redditor.

“The perks were worth it though; collectible pin or lanyard and Disney gift card worth anywhere from $100 – $250.”

Some users speculated that the move was related to an upcoming ticket-only deal that Costco is expected to offer beginning May 19.

“When they announced that, it seemed like the nature of their relationship could be shifting,” a single person said.

“Maybe a contract was over.”

Others suggested that the ticket-only deal might be a better value.

“I found that when I priced packages through Costco, I would often get better deals directly through the hotel and purchasing tickets through GAT,” according to a customer.

“The Costco gift card was nice, but it did not make up the difference.”

Nonetheless, the change comes as a disappointment to many loyal Costco Travel customers who viewed the package deals as a convenient, perks-laden option for planning Disney vacations.

“It is a redundant space,” one individual stated.

“So I think I would actually prefer Costco to focus on just tickets.”
