A man was arrested after trying to rob a donut shop in Omaha, Nebraska, on Saturday evening. The incident took place at the Krispy Kreme on 72nd Street, according to Omaha Police.
What Happened at the Krispy Kreme?
According to Omaha Police, 42-year-old Glenn Sion-Arrenz entered the Krispy Kreme and stayed inside for a while. During his time there, he harassed customers while claiming to be “God” and took drinks from the cooler.
When Sion-Arrenz approached the counter, he said he had a gun and demanded money from the register.
Arrest and Investigation
Police arrived at the scene shortly after and found Sion-Arrenz still there. He was arrested and booked for attempted robbery. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
