Firefighters in Council Bluffs, Iowa, quickly extinguished a residential fire early Wednesday morning, preventing further damage and injuries. The fire was reported at 5:30 a.m. near Norton Circle and East Washington Avenue.
Firefighters Act Quickly to Contain Blaze
According to Pottawattamie County officials, fire crews arrived at the scene and worked to control the blaze. Within about an hour, the fire was reported as extinguished.
- Small Building Structure: The fire occurred in a smaller building on the property.
- No Injuries: Thankfully, there were no reported injuries from the fire.
However, the official on-site did note that some chickens had tragically not survived the blaze.
