A road-rage incident in southwest Omaha on Friday evening escalated when a shot was fired at a vehicle. The incident occurred near 144th and Harrison Streets around 6 p.m., as two men became involved in a heated argument.

According to the Omaha Police Department (OPD), the altercation began on the road and continued at a nearby convenience store.

The Incident Unfolds

The victim, a 39-year-old man, was attempting to drive away from the confrontation when the other man fired a shot at the back of his vehicle, shattering the rear window. Following the shooting, the suspect fled the scene, heading west on Harrison Street.
