The Community Action Team in Omaha has made two DUI arrests

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office reported two separate DUI arrests made by the Community Action Team on Thursday night in Omaha. Both arrests took place in different locations, with the suspects exhibiting impaired driving behavior.

Jekara Hart Arrested for Speeding and Driving with Revoked License

Jekara Hart was stopped for speeding on 120th Street near West Center Road. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that Hart was driving with a revoked license and was under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested and her vehicle was impounded.

Yair Vargas Razo Arrested for Burnouts with High BAC

Yair Vargas Razo was arrested after performing burnouts in his vehicle at the QT gas station located at 32nd and L Street. Razo was found to have a blood alcohol content (BAC) of over .15, which is more than twice the legal limit.

Additionally, he had two prior DUI convictions on his record. Razo’s vehicle was also impounded.

Witnesses Asked to Come Forward
